| Louise was brought up on a dairy farm in the midlands and has always had a passion and interest in animal life of any kind. She gained her veterinary qualification from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2001. Since then, Louise has worked in small and zoo animal practice for several years including a year in Thailand at a Charity clinic. Whilst in Thailand she gained a dive master qualification and her bond with aquatic life was made. Louise studied a postgraduate degree in Fish and aquatic animal medicine at the world renowned ‘Institute of Aquaculture’, Stirling, Scotland. Louise is based in Essex where she runs fish veterinary services, a consultancy business advising in all aspects of fish health. She is health advisor to the fish food company ‘Nishikoi Ltd’, and also writes for Koi Magazine. |
